Hindi Tv Serial Pehli Kiran

Pehli Kiran is a Hindi serial broadcast on the DD Kisan channel under the Doordarshan channel program. This serial is set of stories that are depicted in different episodes. Some of the episodes are Aasha Ki Kiran, Adhikar, Rahat, Kahani Ek Ujjwal Jahaan Ki, Badlaav,etc. Aasha Ki Kiran introduces us toBernali. She lives with her parents and a younger brother named Turu. Bernali has achieved first division in her BA exams. But she has to leave her studies as her mother has no more money. Bernali’s mother works at the house of a man named Rajan. Rajan is requested by his teacher to support Bernali’s further education. Bernali’s mother is not so sure about sending her daughter to city with Rajan or her admission. The village talks badly about Bernali. Bernali marries Rajan to settle with him in the city for her studies. But Bernali gets physically abused by Rajan every day. One day she runs away from the torture. She regrets coming to the city with Rajan. Rajan used her for his business. Bernali asks for work in the city but a woman advises her to go back to her village and ask help from the government.

Bernali returns to her village and tells everyone the truth about Rajan. She starts learning from free courses provided by the government and soon becomes an independent woman. Another episode named Adhikar shows the story of a village’s fight for public washroom. People from the village go to the village head every day to ask for the public washroom. People want to find where the government is lagging in providing them the basic public service. Madan is a daily visitor of the head of the village’s office. Some people in the village are forced to drink alcohol because no one listens to their problems. A family comes to see a daughter-in-law for their son, Rajan. The girl’s name is Mansi. The family still believes that such a son-in-law is not in everybody’s luck. They measure a family’s worth by the amount of wealth they possess. Mansi goes in front of her in-laws in her informal clothes and says that they have to accept her the way she is. Rajan and Mansi talk alone. Rajan just wants Mansi to be his housewife and Mansi says no to their proposal.

This episode depicts Mansi’s struggle through the opinions of the villager regarding her broken marriage proposal. In another episode named Rahat, a family’s every day struggle through their children’s education is shown. Their mother takes a loan to help her son, Roopak, start a business. They also have a daughter names Roomie. Roopak takes his father to the doctor for his backbone pains. Roopak’s mother is a teacher. Roomie is also taking care of her father. They face problems as they live in a village. Roopak’s mother is a responsible teachertowards her students. Roopak is starting a business with his friend. These stories all represent the problems faced by people in the villages of India and the solutions provided by the government. This serial educates the villagers about their rights provided by the government.
