Plot:
The story is based on the lives of two politician brothers Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga and his brother Vangaveeti Radha Krishna Murthy. During the 80s Vijayawada was dominated by the communists. The film deals with the non-cooperation by the Vangaveeti brothers to the communists. The assassination of Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga is the main plot chosen by Ram Gopal Varma. The story happens during the political regime of ‘N. T. Rama Rao’.
Star Performances:
When looking into the performances, all the stars are the newcomers and they have delivered acceptable performances. The best performer in the film is the director, cinematographer and the music director. Analysis: Bringing a real-life story that happened forty years ago in a celluloid is not an easy task. Crores of properties had been vandalized, four districts got into trouble and serious turmoil made to Vangaveeti, Devineni and Chalasani families. Ram Gopal Varma had gathered all the information that happened when he was young. RGV pictured all the huge political fights and made it a simple cinema. RGV has dumped the stars in a pool of blood.

Verdict:
Ram Gopal Varma has proved his talent yet again by this political thriller. But, as there are no known faces, the film might not impress the movie buffs. However, if you want to know about the political happenings in the past, this film would be a better choice.
