Analysis
The story is good and different. However, the director hadn’t concentrated much on the screenplay. If certain scenes are shaped well, the film would have taken a different route. Although some characters are scripted well, some others could have been scripted tightly. Similarly, the editing could have been crisper a bit. Some unnecessary scenes involving Poorna should have been cut, as it is not needed in the script. Although the film is good in the emotional part, certain scenes seem to be forcedly inserted. The BGM and cinematography are good.

Verdict
Although there are some unwanted scenes inserted in the film, the artists' performances make the film get a positive nod from the audience. With some engaging scenes, Power Play makes us watch it once!
