Plot
Balaraju was arrested for sexually assaulting and murdering a girl, Manju, in Kandrakota. He got the death penalty. The judge, Satyanand, who gave the verdict, dies in grief, as he was unable to provide a proper verdict in the case. Vivek is a Human Rights Commissioner. He is the son of Judge Satyanand. He wants to unravel the mystery behind the case, dealt with by his father. Soon, six people, including a government doctor, were kidnapped. What happened next? Who kidnapped them? Did Vivek succeed in getting justice for Manju? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
Varun Sandesh’s performance is decent. Chatrapathi Sekhar and Madhu did justice to the given roles. Tanikella Bharani was decent in the given screen time.
Analysis
The first half moves slowly, and we are explained the case, and then the verdict is served. The second half has some twists and turns. However, for a regular thriller film watcher, it is not difficult to find out the proceedings in the upcoming scene. After a few scenes, the story becomes highly predictable. However, the end twist is interesting. Though the running time is not lengthy, some stretchy scenes make the audience feel that the editing should have been crisper. The film doesn’t explore a wide range of locations and it is shot in a few locations. The visuals are captured neatly. The BGM seems louder in certain places, as the dialogues are not audible in some scenes.
