Sam has lived in the role well. Although her screen presence is minimal, she proved her worth. Chay has given a superb performance and this is his best performance, so far. Divyansha, the newbie has done her part neatly. Posani and Rao Ramesh’s performances are worth mentioning. The rest of the stars had played well.
Majili has no new stuff, but the performances are the best part of the film. The story is not new and we have seen this in a lot of films. The screenplay and the performance made the film an interesting watch. Majili casting is very impressive and all the stars had lived up to the expectations; especially Sam. The first half is a bit slow in showcasing the characters and Poorna’s interests. Songs are okayish. Thaman’s BGM is excellent.
What’s Not There?
Like Premam that took Chay’s career to the next level, Majili proves his acting skill once again. Although the script is flat, the screenplay and the performance make the audiences to watch the film without losing the interest. The romantic and emotional elements in the movie will definitely give a good film watching experience.
