Plot

Vikramaditya was a passionate boxer and a state champion. He didn't get recognized at the national level, and this pressurized him to a vast extent. But his dream was to make his son Ghani a champion. Vikram's wife doesn't want to put the same pressure on her son, which might cause another huge loss. But, Ghani appears in illegal boxing. After he comes to know about his father's ambition, he decides to go for it. Was he able to make it big in the sports arena? This is what the story speaks.

Star Performance

Varun Tej is okay with his role. Jagapati Babu didn't get anything different from his template roles. Upendra and Suniel Shetty have nothing significant to do, but they did their parts in their style. Nadhiya is a good-looking young mother and clean sweeps her role.

Analysis

Kiran Korrapati has brought a normal sports thriller, the story of which we had seen in tons of films. Varun Tej had performed better in his previous films than Ghani due to his characterization. Suniel and Uppi are not appropriately used, except for a big intro of their characters. The heroine's role is a template one, and the Dabanng beauty appears as a glam doll. Varun is given lengthy punch dialogues, but nothing works out. There are many characters, but none are designed and executed well. The love track and flashback stories are not impressive and make the audience look at the exit. The production values are good. The visuals are neat.

Verdict

If you want to watch a decent sports drama, the film will satisfy you! If you wish to watch a unique sports thriller, this is not your cup of tea! Except for a few scenes, the artists' performances make the audience sit and watch the film throughout!
