Sakhi Pamar is a naughty young girl. Goli Raju and Soori are her childhood friends. Sakhi is interested in Golis and an expert too. Sakhi's family wanted to get her married. But, her marriage proposals stopped nearly five times. Sakhi was considered an unlucky girl in her village. Once, retired army personnel visits their village in search of sharpshooters. As she is a Goli expert, Raju takes her to the colonel. After checking her shooting skills, the colonel trained her in sharpshooting. What happens during the sharpshooting competition? Was Sakhi able to remove Bad Luck from her name? The rest of the film deals with it.
Keerthy Suresh steals the heart with her natural performance. Learning a language is a wonder. Keerthy learned to speak Telugu after she entered the Telugu film industry. In this film, she speaks the Chittoor dialect and impresses the audience. Jagapati Babu, Aadhi, and Rahul Ramakrishna are the supporting actors in this Keerthy-centric film, and they have done what was required.
The film starts well with Keerthy's natural performance. We have recently seen a few movies related to sharpshooters, and Keerthy's Good Luck Sakhi is among them. Her character is designed well, and she fits well in the role. However, the audience expects some twists and turns in the film, which is absent in this movie. The motivational dialogues are good. However, the script has nothing emotional and gripping. The audiences were highly expecting that at least the climax would save the day. But, it was also a let-down.
What's Not There?
Good Luck Sakhi was expected to be an emotional sports thriller. But, it lacks in gripping screenplay and emotions. However, the film is watchable once for Keerthy's performance!
