Plot
Shiva is a happy-go-lucky guy, who is jobless, but loves his family to the core. As he is unemployed, his father Murthy is not on good terms with him. Shiva loves Nayana. Kashi is a don in their city. If a thing or place attracts Kashi, he wants to own it, no matter who is the owner and who tries to stops him. One day, Kashi crossed Murthy’s property; it attracted him, and he wanted to own it instantly. What happens when Shiva puts a brake on Kashi’s journey? Was Shiva spared? What happened to his family? The rest of the story comes with the answers.
Star Performance
Gopichand fits well in the role and did fantastic action sequences. It was the time when Nayanthara was doing masala heroine roles before doing heroine-oriented subjects. So, her role was not much special. But, she shared good chemistry with Gopichand. Prakash Raj is good in emotional sequences. The rest of the cast is okay with their performances.
Analysis
The story has nothing new. We have seen these stereotypical father-son, hero-villain stories umpteen times in Indian cinema. However, as the film has been released after years of delay, both the heroine and the hero look young. The first half is comparatively better than the second half. As all the crucial sequences are showcased in the first half, nothing important is in the second half except the climax. If Nayanthara is offered the same role now, she wouldn’t have accepted it, as it is a template heroine role. The action sequence by
