Plot
Karthik is someone who does not believe in absolute commitment. However, when he breaks up with yet another girlfriend, he impulsively marries Priya, who has never been in a relationship. How will the two cope with each other?
Star Performances
The only good thing about this film is the effort of the lead pair Hrishikesh and Sherlin Seth.
For all the flaws of this film, at least they attempted to make this watchable if even there was no screenplay at all.

What is the difference between a regular rom-com and ‘Unarvugal Thodarkadhai’? The answer is none.
Yes, and that is the film’s essence in a nutshell. The story is nothing new, the idea for the narrative is nothing out of the box, and to top it all, the film is anything but fresh.
The film begins on a promising note, but after half an hour, all the promise vanishes in thin air. The runtime is not more than 1 hour and 50 minutes long. Yet, the sheer staleness in the narrative reduces the interest of the viewers.

The film tries to focus on several issues in modern relationships. However, it barely touches any of them overall. This surface-level treatment is not something called for in a romantic comedy. Forget about comedy, even romance is hardly here in this film.
Is there anything good? Yes, it is the acting, but only of the lead pair. Irrespective of the movie’s flaws, Hrishikesh and Sherlin Seth unsuccessfully try to salvage the film by themselves. It was as if they were doing their best to make this film watchable. In some sequences, they succeed, but in others, they just don’t. The saddest part is that they weren’t at fault either.
