Plot
Teejay grows up in an orphanage. He has two close friends and three of them escape from the orphanage. They started collecting empty wine bottles and sell them for their daily bread. Meanwhile, Teejay dreams of going abroad and earning a lump sum. So, he tries to save money for his foreign job. Teejay and friends go to Pondy regarding this. But, they get stuck in an issue. The rest of the story deals with if they escape from the issue and settle in life.
Star Performance
Teejay has done his role properly. Fauzi is okayish in the given role. Cheenu Mohan is impressive with his performance. Sampath and Kaali Venkat have done a decent job.
Analysis
The director has taken demonetization as one of the main elements in the film. He has also spoken about the youngsters, who don’t have any moral support. The screenplay is quite okay. Songs and BGM are okayish. But, the cinematography is not much impressive.

The movie has both pluses and minuses. Although there are a few films that deal with demonetization, this one is different. Thatrom Thookrom could be watched once!
