What is the connection between Madhivanan and the dead person? What happened to Nimmi? Did Bhuvana joins Prasad? The answers form the rest of the story.

Star Performance

All the stars had performed really well. Kathir’s performance is excellent as a transwoman. His behavior in front of others and when he was alone is extremely different and Kathir excelled in it. Raj Bharath has performed as a soft natured pimp.

Sigai comes with a different script and it has all the essential elements of the regular thriller genre films. The film expresses how a transwoman feels. The lead characters are dealt with in detail. Kathir, Raj Bharath and Riythvika are perfect for the roles. The dialogues are good, but Kathir’s preachy dialogue about the transwoman will not go well with the audiences. Jagadeesan has filmed this cult thriller, well. The BGM and the cinematography are good.

What’s There?

  • Performance of the stars are good
  • The twists and the suspense are impressive
  • The BGM and the cinematography are appreciable

What’s Not There?

  • The film is very preachy in certain sequences

With the good performance of the stars, the film impresses the audiences. If you watch performance oriented films with a different genre, then this film would attract you. It is sad to see such performance-oriented films are forced to have the digital release.
