Plot

The film Kundhi is about a mother who stays at home with her two daughters- Thanvi and Krithika. All of them are struggling to live in their home by fighting with an evil ghost. The film starts with a married couple moving to a new home with their two kids and grandma. They live peacefully, but after a few days, things turn worse. The family experience strange incidents that frighten them. Fed up of these incidents, the Grandmother calls a Swamiji (religious teacher) into the house. She believes that Swamiji can give a solution to the problems they are facing around and within their home. However, things do not go well. His visit fails to go smoothly. The evil spirit attacks Swamiji and kills him while he is searching for it.

However, despite his eventual death, Swamiji developed a power that could destroy the evil ghost. How will the power destroy this ghost? What is the story behind this ghost? Why is it trying to harm the family? Watch this film to know this.

Star Performance

Poorna is capable of doing any role given to her. Her performance as a mother of two children is applaudable. She played her character with all the required emotions. Her performance adds value to the film. Abhimanyu Singh, who played the villain's role, impressed the Tamil audiences with his performance. Kishore and the two children – Krithika and Thanvi, gave excellent performances. The rest of the cast did everything required.

Analysis

Film Kundhi is a combination of horror and thriller elements with multiple plots. Besides the horror and thriller elements, there are emotional scenes as well. The ending of the movie is suspenseful. However, the film could be outstanding if written by a more talented writer.
