When it comes to the genre of sports it’s heartening to see a film on this genre since not many movies focus on it in Kollywood. Eeti is one movie where sports is also given importance; it has all the necessary elements of a commercially successful movie.
Atharvaa is a young and aspiring sportsman (he sports a six pack physique) who wants to make it big in life. He has the support of his coach but that doesn’t do anything big to him. Atharva has done full justice to his role; he has lived the character of an ambitious sportsman. We have already witnessed his acting prowess in Paradesi (for which he won the Filmfare Award). Sri Divya looks pretty in the movie and has done what is required of her. Actors including Naren, Thirumurugan, Jayaprakash and RNR Manohar have supported well.
You cannot expect a full-fledged sports movie in Eeti. It has all the commercial elements to rock at the box office. The action scenes are good in the movie; Atharvaa is seen showing his six-pack physique now and then in the movie. It is learnt that Atharvaa worked on his well-built physique for almost one year.
