Plot

Young girls are murdered uniquely in a city. They were killed using a teddy doll, which kills them using a chemical injection. Bagheera, a psychopath, is on a killing spree. He launched an app where young boys could download it and upload images of the girls who cheated. Bagheera finds those girls and kills them cruelly. Ramya, a psychology student, crosses his life. Ramya had to stay alone with Bagheera in Sri Lanka. What was her condition? Was she able to escape from him? Why Bagheera kills young girls? Did his lover cheat him? The rest of the film deals with this.

Star Performance

Prabhu Deva has delivered a different performance. Sakshi Agarwal and Amyra have got performance-oriented roles. The rest of the stars didn’t have enough screen space.

Analysis

It is a regular psychopath story with Prabhu Deva in the lead role. Though he did his job well, the rest of the cast didn’t have enough room to perform. The screenplay was not designed well, and hence nothing is seen as a thrilling sequence. There are a lot of stars in the film, but neither of them got a solid role. As this genre of movies is out of the present trend, it might have attracted the thriller genre moviegoers if it had been released 10+ years ago. Moreover, the scenes are easily predictable and make the audience feel bored. The BGM and visuals are pretty decent.

Verdict

Bagheera is not a must-watch film. If you have no movies to watch this weekend, you can give it a try!
