Aangila Padam is the horror-comedy cum crime thriller flick featuring “ Ramki,” Actor Sanjeev, “ Meenakshi,” “ Singamuthu,” Madhumitha, Sreeja Das and Kumaresh Kumar in the main roles. The film is scripted and directed by Kumaresh Kumar. RJM Vasuki produced the movie under the banner RJ Media Creations. Sai Suresh cranked the camera and the music is by MC Riko. The hero and his uncle accept to stay in a haunted house at night as a challenge to get money from a person named Kosu Kumar. Later they realize they were cheated by Kosu Kumar. It was Rail Murugan, a gangster, who planned to sell the haunted house for a big price, cheated them. Similarly, a pickpocket, whom the hero loves, had also been cheated by Rail Murugan. So, four of them plan to revert what Rail Murugan did to them and get the money from him. Did their plan end up in success? Watch the film to know the rest of the story.

Star Performance

As far as Aangila Padam is concerned, we could not say that he has performed well or she excelled in the role. All of them have played, how the director ordered them to do. They have just delivered the dialogues without enough facial expressions.

It was stated that Aangila Padam is a horror film. But, the script and the screenplay lack the energy and it doesn’t suit in the genre at all. The director hadn't planned the film well and hence it lacks in everything right from the script.

What’s There?

  • We have to use a microscope to find out a positive point in the film

What’s Not There?

  • Script and screenplay are not designed well
  • Execution is poor
  • Visual effects are not up to the mark
  • The actors are wasted and they just utter dialogues and don’t express much
  • Background score is noisy

The film is neither a horror thriller nor a comedy entertainer. It is not even a half-baked movie but gives a raw feel. Even if you miss this film, you won’t lose anything.
