Plot
Jibin, Niroop, Rivin, Mukesh, Shijappan, Karikuttan, and Soman are close pals and all stay together in a rented house. Karikuttan and Rivin are working, Soman is trying to do some business and the rest are searching for jobs. Jibin sees a group using the Ouija board to communicate with the spirits. So, he tries to use the carom board as the Ouija board. When he invites his friends to participate, Rivin denies involving in this. The rest started using the board. Jibin and Shijappan move the glasses on the board to make the rest of the friends believe that they are communicating with the spirit. What happens next? Meanwhile, Sinu, a friend of Jibin joins them. The rest of the story has twists and turns.
Star Performance
Arjun Ashokan’s role as Sinu is excellent. His antics with the roommates is enjoyable. Soubin Shahir performed well as usual. He played the role of Jibin. His plan with Shijappan played by Abin Bino was neatly executed. The rest of the stars have done a fantastic job and made us remember them and their roles forever with their mind-blowing performances.
Analysis
The makers have come up with a good screenplay that pulls the audiences to travel with the characters throughout the film. While watching the film, we can see the audience join the characters in uttering the dialogue and that’s the power of execution. The screenplay is fast-paced. The BGM is wonderful and gels well with the story. The storyline is a bit different. If it had gone to the wrong hands, we might not have gotten the right horror-comedy sequences. We can’t see senseless comedy anywhere. Even the cameo stars have given some wonderful performances.

Romancham is a good horror-comedy film that works well in all aspects, from direction to music. If you love horror-comedy films, you can watch this film. You won’t be disappointed.
