Honey Bee 2 Celebrations is a sequel to the 2013 hit Malayalam movie Honey Bee. Now let’s see how the movie turns out to be.

Plot

The movie, which is written and directed by Lal Jr. commences where the prequel ended. The two protagonists Asif Ali and Bhavana, attempts suicide since their family is against them getting married. However, the family of Bhavana realizes the trued love of them and eventually decides to get them married. There are some dramatic touches to the movie and after that what will hinder the proceedings of the movie? Watch it to know.

Star Performances

Bhavana, who is a talented actress, seems to be getting a less meaty role in the flick. However, she does what is required of her with ease. Asif Ali, who though has a lot of screenspace, could have done better. Sreenath Bhasi Sreenath Bhasi is a heart throb of many girls. Analysis

The movie relies much on the sentiments, egos etc. of a family when it comes to love marriage. Also the first half of the film is interspersed with laughter elements.

What’s there?

• The movie doesn’t have the same old humorous situations that we have seen in Malayalam films. The main point is that there is a consistent filling of laughter in the movie. However, there is too much of adult dialogues in the movie which will not go well with all set of audience.

• Some of the costumes of Bhavana are extremely captivating.

What’s not there?

• The sentiments could have been executed in an even more engaging way.

• Certain characters in the movie could have been etched in a better manner.

Verdict

The movie could have been executed in a more entertaining fashion. It doesn’t have as much of entertaining elements that Honey Bee had.
