Plot
Chembarathipoo, the coming of age drama deals with the love life of a youngster Vinod. Two stages of his life are shown along with his romantic attempts. Vinod is an aspiring filmmaker and how he is influenced by two girls in two different stages is shown in the film. The film also has a love track of Mathayi, Vinod’s friend. The film showcases how Vinod rediscovers himself while traveling towards his ambition.
Star Performance
'Askar Ali' has got a meaty role to play and he has done it with perfection. 'Parvathy Arun' , the newcomer, has given a clean performance. 'Aditi Ravi' has done what the director expected. As usual, 'Aju Varghese' has excelled in the given role.
Analysis
Chembarathipoo directed by 'Arun Vaiga' has a good script. Kudos to the casting team for choosing the youthful team! The director has done his part well. However, the audience will vote negatively for the slow-paced screenplay.
