The main cast includes Rony David, Roopesh Peethambaran, Anu Mohan, Rajeev Pillai, Sudev Nair, Vinitha Koshy, Biju Sopanam, Ashokan, Jyothis Balakrishna, Jomin Jose, Pradeep Kottayam, Mahesh, Mareena, Harish Pengan, Roshna Ann Roy, Balaji Sarma, Sohan Seenulal, and Sujith. Girish Narayan dealt with the soundtracks. Gopi Sundar handled the cinematography. Vipin Das designed the costumes. Jith Joshie edited the script.
Plot
Set in a small village, the movie’s plot is a story that revolves around a young boy, Prakashan who desire to be a film maker. However, his ambitions were suppressed in young age. Presently, he is married and is the father of a boy.
Prakashan was a truly talented dramatist. His friends urge him to try his luck in film making. They also ask him to meet one of their friend named Kichu. Kichu left the village few years ago to build his identity in film industry. Prakashan convinced his wife to allow him to go to in Kochi. He left his family, friends and village behind to pursue his interest in filmmaking. However, on meeting Kichu he discovered ugly truth about film industry.
Star performance
The main character in the film is Prakashan. He is a married man who is the father of a kid. Rony David plays his character. He has done incredible work. Throughout the movie, his acting was consistent. He showed Prakashan as a true enthusiast of film industry. Rony delivered a nuanced performance by rightly balancing Prakashan’s emotions. He fits in the role.
Other supporting actors like Anu Mohan, Rajeev Pillai, Sudev Nair, Vinitha Koshy, Biju Sopanam, Ashokan, Jyothis Balakrishna, Jomin Jose, Pradeep Kottayam, Mahesh, Mareena, Harish Pengan, Roshna Ann Roy, Balaji Sarma, Sohan Seenulal, and Sujith have also delivered nuanced performances.
Analysis
Angarajyathe Jimmanmar is an amazing film. The genres of the film are comedy and drama. The movie is genuinely a comedic film. The film’s plot is interesting as it focuses only on one character. However, the movie is decent but it has a plain basic comedy. The concept of the film is good, but it could have been better. However, the pace of the film is problematic. The movie is instead a slow movie. Some forcefully added scenes are in the film.
The cinematography suffered a little. It was an average cinematography. The movie’s script is realistic and authentic. The script is pretty exceptional. The cast of the movie did a great job. But acting alone doesn’t make a film alone. The execution of the film’s script is average. However, the movie’s script is brilliant. The concept of filmmakers was good. The soundtracks were terrific and fun.
