Plot
Shiva, an orphan boy, is raised by his grandfather. He lives in Hirisave, a village near the Western Ghats. In his childhood, some powerful men in this village killed his mother. They also did wrong to him and taught him to be fearless. Now, Shiva is a fearless man, and he is on a mission to kill these people. He wants to take revenge on them. But he is surprised to know that there is a strange person who is killing all those whom he wanted to kill before.
Several murders are taking place in this village. The villagers think that a ghost is behind these murders. The rest of the story is about Shiva will find out the murderers. Will Shiva be successful in doing this? Is there any ghost behind these murders? If not, then why is someone committing these murders?
Star Performance
Raghu Ramappa, who played Shiva’s role, gave a good performance. He shows his physical strength and also romances with the heroine. However, he gives a disappointing performance in some scenes. Sonika Gowda’s role was not too lengthy. She suddenly appears, plays her part, and goes back. However, wherever she appears, she tries to give a good performance on her debut. Govinde Gowda, Kuri Pratap, and the rest of the cast gave okayish performances.
Analysis
The film’s genre is action and suspense, but mostly you get to see romance between the lead cast. It is inspired by a real story but it does not seem like this on watching the film. The film’s comedic scenes almost fail to make the audience laugh. The first half of the film is exhausting. The film has a twist in the second half but fails to keep the audience engaged. The leading roles also gave an average performance. All in all, this film disappoints the audience greatly.

Verdict
Shathaya Gathaya means at any cost, and for many viewers, it will be avoidable at any cost. However, those who laugh at anything will enjoy the comedy in this movie. If you are free and want to experience a little bit of suspense, action, and thriller, you can watch this film.
