Ayananka Bose handled the film’s cinematography. Hitesh Sonik, Meet Bros, Anjjan Bhattacharya, Tanishk Bagchi, Manan Bhardwaj, Payal Dev, Rochak Kohli, and Ali Sethi dealt with the film’s music. Plot
The story revolves around a young boy named Satyaprem, aka Sattu. He belongs to a lower middle class. He is an unhappy, failed law student. In the family, his mother and sister earns the income whereas Sattu and his father takes care of household chores. His family pressured him for marriage, but they couldn’t find a girl. So, Sattu tell his father that he wants to marry a girl whom he saw at a Garba festival. Sattu gets mesmerized by the beauty of Katha. A flashback starts of Garba celebration, Sattu feels attracted towards Katha but he later finds out that she is committed to another guy named Tapan. One year later, he finds out she broke up with Tapan so, Sattu goes to her house to find her. But he sees her in her role committing suicide. Sattu calls an ambulance and gets her hospitalised. A few days later, Katha’s parents brought a marriage proposal to Sattu’s house. He gladly accepted the proposal. After few months they got married.
However, whenever Sattu tried to come close with Katha she always gets uncomfortable and acted as if she is uninterested. One night, Sattu confronted her about the distance between their relationship. But Katha indirectly refused to respond. Sattu talked to Harikishen the next day so that he might help in improving the situation. Harikishen advised Sattu to help her to get comfortable around him. He brought flowers and gifts for Sattu. One day, when they tried to get intimate, Katha was unable to perform sexually. She reveals that Tapan raped her on Garba night. He got her pregnant. After getting an abortion, her family abandoned her. In the remaining part, Sattu files a complain against Tappan and he gets arrested.
Star performance
The main characters of the story are Sattu and Katha. Sattu is a failed law student, who has a pure heart and cares about the people around him. Kartik Aaryan plays Satyaprem’s character in the movie. He delivered a satisfactory performance. His chemistry with other actors is fantastic and palpable. Kartik perfectly showed Sattu as a responsible man. Her wife is Katha. Due to Katha’s past, they faced severe problems in their relationship. Kiara Advani played her character. Throughout the movie, she delivered a fantastic performance. Her acting in the film is consistent and mature. Kiara nailed the emotional scenes. She showed Katha as an intelligent girl who faced various challenges in her marriage life.
Other primary lead is Gajraj Rao. He plays the role of Narayan, Sattu’s father. Supriya Pathak played the role of Diwali. Siddharth Randeria as Harikishan, Katha’s father. All of them have delivered fabulous acting skills in the movie. The supporting casts like Nirmiti Sawant, Rajpal Yadav, Anuradha Patel, Shikha Talsania, Rajpal Naurang Yadav, Nirmiti Sawant, Maira Doshi, Palash Tiwari, Arjun Aneja, and Vinay Rawal have also delivered an impressive performance.
Analysis
The plot of the story revolves around a couple, Satyaprem and Katha. The chemistry between the main protagonists is brilliant. In the movie, Katha’s character is a soft hearted and sympathetic character. However, Satyaprem’s character is emotionally matured.  After facing lots of problem they get together in the end. The filmmakers tried to add humor in the movie, but they failed to do so. Overall, the storyline is exciting and easy to visualize. It is not only a simple romantic movie, it has many intense emotional scenes too. The chemistry between the main cast and the supporting cast is fantastic. The execution of the movie is excellent, it connects with the audience.Â
The music of the film is exciting and enjoyable too. It starts on a positive note but gets serious as it proceeds. However, the division between the two parts of the movie is quite clear. They do not blend perfectly. The pace of the film is problematic as it is a slow-paced film. Also, the plot of the movie is predictable. The supporting actors have also delivered impressive performance throughout the movie. The film also has amazing cinematography in significant scenes.

Despite all the problems in the film, it is a one time watch. It has a blend of comedy and romance. One must watch this movie, it is fun.
