Kanwal Kohli started his career in the former Indian Gramophone Company (HMV) and is now renamed Saregama India Ltd. After seven years at Saregama, Kanwal has held various roles, including sales, marketing, and content, and later moved to Frankfinn Group. Kanwal then moved his base to Delhi and created a boutique label, "Indya Records", which is now a leading brand in North Indian music and films. With the addition of Bollywood, Kanwar has moved back to Mumbai and joined Namar Pictures as a co-producer.
