. They were both driven away along with their mother by their father after he married another woman. Soon they lose their mother and build a tomb for her on the land they thought was their own, but the Zamindar claims it back telling them that their mother had taken it on loan. Meeting over there, Ram falls in love with Sona, but his mother is dead against this relationship, as she wants Ram to get married to another girl known to her, called Dolly. Insulting both Sona and Raghuveer, Ashwini asks both of them to leave. To salvage the situation, Ram rushes to Raghuveer and begs of him to accept him. Raghuveer sets a similar condition for Ram like the Zamindar did in his own case. He is given a host of daily chores and growing more crops as well, by the end of the season. A lot of obstacles are put in Ram’s way but he succeeds in his mission, but the Zamindar’s son kidnaps Sona and even attempts to rape her. Infuriated by this, and to protect Sona, Ram kills the Zamindar’s son.
In a significant sacrifice, Raghuveer takes the blame for the killing to allow Sona and Ram to stay together, but they decide to wait till Raghuveer gets released after 7 years, and only then get married. To add to the happiness, even Ashwini, Ram’s mother, accepts Sona as Ram’s wife. The main lead Girish incidentally is the producer’s son, and though he obviously looks like a green horn, is able to overcome his rough patches, through his photogenic looks and assumed confident demeanour. Shruti Haasan on the other hand, besides looking gorgeous is highly expressive in her role, and the film has a gigantic supporting cast comprising of

and so many others, all of whom have drawn upon their long years of acting to deliver appropriate performances for their roles. The other touted plus feature is supposed to be its music composed by the talented Sachin Jigar duo, and they do not disappoint at all, with some noteworthy numbers that would be hummed for quite some time.
Verdict: If one is looking for entertainment, this film does not disappoint in any way with its blend of musical romance.
