Kumar Taurani is a very famous producer in the Bollywood film industry. He is the producer of many films and his films distributed by the Tips Industries has won many awards in its glory like Zee Cine Awards, IIFA, Filmfare, Star Screen and other National Awards. He is the President and Managing Director of Tips Industries Limited, which is one of the largest commercial organizations in the field of entertainment and music.

He independently produced his first film ‘ Prince’ in 2010. He and his brother Ramesh Taurani founded Tips Industries in 1975. It started with a small record-selling shop for music companies like Sony, Universal Music Group, SaReGaMa. He is the father of Girish Kumar, who is a very popular actor in Bollywood.

He was launched by Kumar Taurani in the film distributed by Tips Industries ‘ Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ starring Shruti Hassan. Currently, Kumar Taurani’s son will be seen in the upcoming Tips Industries venture ‘Loveshudha’. He is a learner from his mistakes, for example after suffering a huge loss in his movie Prince he realized his mistake and did not commit the same in his hit movie Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. This movie brought him a good amount of revenue through its release. Kumar Taurani is the producer of many successful films like Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai (1998), Dil Hai Tumhara (2002), Race (2008), Ishq Vishk (2003), Kismat Connection (2008), Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya (2012), Prince (2010), Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story (2013) and Race 2 (2013).

His films have won many awards like their film ‘ Soldier’ won two Filmfare Awards. In the year 2000, his film ‘ Kya Kehna’ won three awards and proved to be a great hit. His Ajay Devgan starrer production ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh’ released in 2002 brought in two Filmfare Awards, five Zee Cine Awards, and two National Awards.

His and the DAR companies venture into cinema, as he comments, is solely revolved around this idea of content propelling the growth of Indian Cinema into new heights and them being around to be a part of this transformation.
