Plot
Ustara is a contract killer. Afsha is a young widow who avenges her husband, Mehboob Qureshi’s death. Underworld king Jalal killed Mehboob. Will Ustara help Afsha avenge her husband’s death? What’s his connection with Afsha and Mehboob? The rest of the story follows this.
Star Performance
Shahid Kapoor’s performance is fantastic, and his dialogue delivery and body language proved his experience. Tripti is good in her role. Her expressions are neat and she looked beautiful, too. Avinash is menacing. Nana Patekar and Tamannaah Bhatia are good in their cameo roles. The rest of the cast did what was required.
Analysis
The first half moves at a slow pace and the film picks up the pace in the second half. However, it feels stretched overall, as the pace oscillates here and there. Some sequences are too long, testing us, despite bringing interesting twists. The action sequences are finely choreographed. The visuals are excellent, especially during the stunt sequences. The BGM is interesting and it adds extra flavour.
