Plot

Juuliet Shukla is the sister of the local goon of Mirzapur, Dharamraj. She is a kind of girl, who cares for nothing and roams freely all around. Dharamraj wants his sister to marry the politician Rajan Pandey’s son. But, Juuliet’s idea is quite different. She wants to marry her childhood friend Mirza. But, he is a silent killer, unlike Juuliet’s impulsive personality. Did Juuliet open to her brother about marrying Mirza, who doesn’t belong to her religion? Did he accept Mirza? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performances

Piaa perfectly fits the role, Juuliet, the brash personality. She looks cute and acts shrewdly. Darshan Kumar comes as a silent spectator for sometimes and with some simple and neat expressions.

Analysis

The director Rajesh Ram Singh has chosen a script that is similar to that of Gangs of Wasseypur. Rajesh could have developed the roles of Piaa and Darshan Kumar, well. The transformation scenes seem to be shifty. Many scenes look like the copies of the scenes from Gangs of Wasseypur, which is an inspiration to this movie.

What’s There?

  • Piaa and Darshan’s performance
  • Chandan Roy Sanyal’s comedy performance

What’s Not There?

  • Poor editing techniques make us think is it a cinema or what!
  • Songs didn’t impress the music lovers
  • Piaa’s character seems to be a bit louder

Verdict

On the whole, the film seems to be a tragedy that had crumbled itself with weak characterization and scripting.
