Amrita Arora

Amrita Arora was born on 31st January 1981 in Chembur, Mumbai. She is a very prominent actress, model, Television Presenter and VJ too. She is active from the year 2002 until now. She got married with Shakeel Ladak in the year 2009. She has two children namely Azaan Ladak and Rayaan Ladak. Arora's debut Bollywood movie was 'Kitne Door Kitne Paas', which was apparently not that successful as far as the box office collection is concerned. Her first successful movie was 'Awara Paagal Deewana', an action comedy film. Amrita Arora was born to a Malayali mother and to a Punjabi father. Her sister is Malaika Arora Khan. In 2007, she had done cameo roles in movies like Om Shanthi Om, Speed and Red: The Dark Side. Amrita's  project was Ek Tho Chance made a mark to her career and as of now, she had acted around 20 movies. She was regarded to be a prominent actor and managed to make a bigger appeal unlike other actresses. Her sister Malaika is an actor. Her relatives are Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan who is her brother-in-law. Amrita was spoken to have dated with Pakistani-born English cricketer Usman Afzaal. Amrita Arora is 5'5'' and the intermediate thing that bridged her modelling and acting is that she appeared in music videos. Her nickname is Ammu and her looks did grab her to the movies from modelling. This had indeed made her popular amongst the directors to pick her for casting. Amrita admitted that she has been following the footsteps of her sister Malaika. Her close friend in the industry is Kareena Kapoor.
