Star Performances
Akshaye does full justice to Harilal. He described his brilliance through his performance. His performance is so brilliant that it will be remembered whenever the movie will be talked about. Darshan Zariwala, who played Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, has shown immense talent. Nobody can ever play Gandhi the way he does. Shefali Shah is brilliant as Kasturba. Even Bhumika Chawla shines as Gulab.
Analysis
The movie gives a backdrop of major historical events in Gandhiji’s life during his freedom movement. It shows that we are all humans in the end, and nobody is perfect. It portrays the growing distance between a father and his son when Gandhi was more concerned about the nation’s freedom. It is a moving story.Â
