Plot
Myra Devekar is an assistant director who wants to direct a movie. She couldn’t impress the producer with her stories, but the producer asked her to bring a gangster story that should be original. So, she decides to follow a gangster and get his story. Vishu is her sidekick. Myra finds Bachchan Pandey, a ruthless gangster. What happens when the villainous guy finds out she follows him for a reason? The rest of the story deals with it.
Star Performance
Akshay portrayed the titular role and did his part perfectly. Kriti is okayish, and Arshad Warsi is the show stealer with his funny looks, body language, and dialogue delivery.

. Bobby Simha won the National Award for his excellence in portraying a gangster. We can’t assure that Akshay would bag one for his performance. Unlike the original, the remake has a lot of commercial elements that played a spoilsport. However, the film might be interesting for a commercial movie audience. The BGM is good in some places and louder in some sequences. The director has changed the script to suit the Bollywood sensibilities, disturbing the people who had already watched the original version.

Verdict
For an Akshay Kumar fan, the film might be exciting, and for non-fans, it is just another commercial film with over masala elements.
