Plot

The plot of the story revolves around a cop named Vincent. Despite being a cop he is in contact with the underworld's criminals. However, his life gets in danger when he along his wife get caught while smuggling drugs during a party. The drug heist goes wrong as their plan fails. The masked man who was stealing stabbed the robbers and ran away. They were police officers. The Vincent got injured due to stabbing. He has a bag of coke, although he is unaware of what that is. This bag belonged to a powerful bossman. To save his son, the smuggler asked him to help.

Star performance

The main character of the story is Vincent Downs. He is a detective in the movie. Tomer Sisley played his character. Throughout the movie, Sisley did some incredible work by balancing the intense emotions. He beautifully depicted Vincent, the protagonist of the movie. Another important character is Feydeck. Joey Starr played his role in the film. Joey has done terrific acting. His presence made the storyline more compelling. Other than the chemistry between the actors was also amazing.

The supporting cast includes Bencherif, Julien Boisselier, Serge Riaboukine, Pom Klementieff, Laurent Stocker, Birol Ünel, Lizzie Brocheré, Samy Seghir, Dominique Bettenfeld, Adel Bencherif, Catalina Denis, Vincent Bersoulle, Olivier Massart, Cécile Boland, Pascal Lavanchy, Hervé Sogne, Gabriel Boisante and Dean Constantin gave fantastic performances.

Analysis

Sleepless Night is an incredible movie. Beginning with the script, it is a brilliantly structured movie. It is full of action and suspense. Although at first it might seem like Die Hard, it’s not. It is much better than any regular action movie. The plot of the film was authentic and realistic. The execution of the script was fabulous. The directors presented the action scenes very well. The acting skills of the main lead and the supporting cast were terrific. Other supporting cast have also delivered nuanced performances throughout the movie. The movie does have many interesting characters, specially the character of Vincent is the most attractive one.

The ending is neatly executed. Unlike other movies, here, the end is satisfactory and neat. Other than thriller and action it also have hints of comedy. The most exciting part of the film is cinematography, the locations used like night club was perfectly captured. Also, the writer made a great use of crowd and people as well. The songs used in the film are well chosen. They were suitable for the movie.
