Plot
Sicario- Day of the Soldado’s plot revolves around human traffic and drug cartels at the US- Mexico border and an attempt by the United States government to take down and resolve their issue. Things start to heat up once they head to Mexico.
Star Performance
We have to give props to the actors for their fantastic jobs. The highlights for me were Benicio Del Toro for his award worthy performance and Josh Brolin, who amazed me with his performance of challenging FBI Agent.
Analysis
Sicario: Day of the Soldado is a sequel to Sicario. It opens with coverage of Somali pirates, and we get coverage of illegal activities at the United States-Mexico borders. The FBI believes all the activities are connected and thus began their investigation.
The first half of the film was a bit slow, but once you get past it becomes intriguing and fun to watch. The movie didn’t stay up with the hopes and success of its predecessor and lacked the awareness it wanted to create.

Verdict
It is a good one time watch but I believe the producers wanted to earn profit from the name of the first movie.
