Plot:
There are incidents of assassinations and explosions in the continent of Europe and Sherlock suspects the culprit behind these happenings to be Professor Moriarty. In the meantime, Dr. Watson gets married and has decided not to work with Holmes anymore. Although after these explosions, he is reluctant to work again with him and look for the criminal. Madam Souza joins their team.
This trio then embarks on their attempt to unravel the crime and stop these gruesome crimes to take place. This movie has in store for its audiences amazing sequences of action and heart-thumping pace of the story also makes it an enjoyable watch. The script and direction of the movie are fairly stylish and exciting.
The building up of an atmosphere in the film with the help of soundtracks etc. surely does a great job and creates anticipation. There are a lot of violent and actions scenes. This movie has more action elements in it than the previous movies of the same franchise. Apart from the interesting action scenes, there is also action going on silently in the movie.
As bizarre as this statement sounds, this holds true. For instance, the game of chess that is played between the professor and Holmes is equivalent to a battle fought between the two and is treated as such. Apart from the solemn and mysterious aura of the film, it comes as a relieving element when there are scenes of wit and humor in the movie.

does a commendable job, and Jude also plays his role of Watson with perfection. The chemistry between the two is also remarkably great. This movie, however, lacks the mystery element as we are well aware of all the facts and details from the very beginning.
Verdict:
This film should be a must watch for all Sherlock Holmes fans, and they will not be disappointed by this one.
