Plot

Kree is one of the powerful warriors in the alien group. Kree feels that she has some connection with the earth, but couldn’t find it out. An intergalactic battle makes Kree to recollect her memories and she finds out her origin. Carol Danvers learns that she was a pilot and she comes to know that people thought that she was dead a few years ago. The aliens who follow her tries to destroy her. But, with her full power, she escapes from them. The rest of the film showcases how she connects with other superheroes to save the earth.

Star Performance

Brie Larson did her role perfectly. Samuel L Jackson did justice to the role, as usual. Ben Mendelsohn’s job is appreciable too.

Analysis
Captain Marvel is the first female superhero led film by Marvel. Although there are a lot of female superheroes, Captain Marvel is the highly expected film, as it is the intro to the upcoming Avengers Endgame. The characters are neatly designed and the stars fit in the role perfectly. The script and the screenplay are good. But, at times, we could find that some scenes roll at a slow pace and test the audiences. The heroic moments are well made and give Goosebumps to the Marvel fans. There are places where we guffaw. The directors gain appreciation in such areas too. However, Captain Marvel had set a good base for Avengers Endgame.

What’s There?

  • Script, screenplay and execution are neat
  • Stars have performed neatly
  • Heroic moments are finely shot

What’s Not There?

  • Some slow moving scenes irk the audiences

Verdict

Although there are very few flaws in the film, Captain Marvel is a good treat for the Marvel fans to enjoy this weekend. Besides this, it has hyped up the expectation on the upcoming Marvel Superhero franchise Avengers Endgame. If you are a Marvel Fan, you will definitely love it; so, take your family for a Marvel trip!
