Plot
The movie starts with a crowd gathering around the beach, they were performing baptism. In Christianity baptism refers to surrendering and dedicating yourself to God. Then we see a reporter who comes to Greg Laurie and asks him his story behind joining the moment. We see flashback, which was about one year back when Greg was in his teenage, he has no one in his life except his mom, who is never in her senses due to excessive alcohol and drugs. Along with taking care of his mom he also attends army classes which he does not want to, but only does to make his mother happy. In the next scene we see a girl named Janette Smith, whose parents seemed concerned about her, for which she was disturbed. Then we see Greg, who stops in a park while returning home, and he starts recording the people in the park randomly. While recording he saw someone, it was the first time he likes a girl, there he was standing at a distance and adoring her. There a friend of Greg, Charlie arrives, he understood the situation and calls the girl for an introduction. The girl is Cathe and was in high school. The rest of the story revolves around Greg and how he ended up in the baptism gathering.
Star Performance
Kelsey and Jonathan both excelled at bringing their characters to life and together they illustrated the friendship. The rest of the cast was very good at depicting the character that they were supposed to play, whether it was a hippie or a non-believer. The soundtrack, the actors, the acting, the cinematography and the two love stories were all incredible.Â
Analysis
Jesus revolution movie is a call to action, to inspire Christians to welcome everyone into their churches and create a new raw and powerful revival. One could argue that this movie is broaching the subject in a way to not accidentally trigger partisan and extreme reactionary views by not focusing on the highly polarized views on human sexuality that many churches are now having to decide on, but by attacking the ultimate problem which is just simply rejection, prejudice, and humans attempting to restrict the boundary of Jesus's love. The movie was presented in such a way that you feel like a participant instead of just an observer.

Overall, this is one of the most thought-provoking films, and certainly an incredible film with satisfactory love stories. It is a must-see.Â
