This is a good versus evil' directed by Conor Allyn and written by Rob Allyn.
PLOT: A suicide attack takes place, in which the king's daughter, Atiqah Hasiholan, is expected to be dead.

is considered as an eye witness by Ario Bayu, a lieutenant. Kellan finds a tattoo on the deceased body and confirms that Atiqah is not dead. Meanwhile, Ario's family is captured by the criminals, who demand the death of Kellan in return. The King also informs Ario that his daughter is kidnapped, and they are demanding his throne as ransom. Will all the hostages be saved?
ANALYSIS: Steadicam shots and wide angled lenses were used for this movie. This was the reason for getting an incisive output on the screen. Since this movie comes under the genre of action, it was made sure that all the shootouts, blasts, and chases were in the right amounts. The exotic locations of Java were so lovely. The concentration in the field of editing was not much to the field of the screenplay, as the upcoming scenes were so easy to guess. This movie missed being an entertaining one since it did not concentrate on Bayu alone. The director concentrated more on the chemistry between Lutz and Bayu, which failed very badly.
STAR PERFORMANCE: Kellan Lutz did not seem to possess charisma. His abs speak more than his performance. Mickey Rourke's elocution made us yearn more for subtitles. Though his performance was bizarre, he made it more compulsive. Bayu gave a decent performance as a genuine cop. But the dialogues said by him were uncooked and raw.
WHAT'S THERE: This movie gives a good detail about Indonesia, and also about the culture and the tradition followed there. The location is quite new to the American movies.
WHAT'S NOT THERE: Unfortunately, the plot was completely a cliched one. The movie was completely predictable from the start to the end.
VERDICT: Excessive cliches led to a cooked food being served cold.
