Plot
Before joining a University, Anna plans to travel for a year. John, who is her best friend, has a secret crush on her. Steph tries to get past a report from her vice principal. Aspiring filmmaker Chris’s girlfriend Lisa is performing on the Christmas show. On that night, a zombie infection spreads over the town. Will they all survive the apocalypse? Will they get past the troubles that they are keeping a secret from each other?
Star Performance
Ella Hunt, as Anna, is a very promising character. The way she sings, dances, and kills the zombies is very satisfying to watch. The character and the quotes she says in the middle are very fascinating. Steph is another plus point in the movie, and Sarah Swire did a good job playing that role.
Analysis
The screenplay was very well written. In this film, all the characters are equally important, and the development of each character is wonderfully shown. It might have the story of a routine zombie movie but with less violence and more humor.
What’s There?
• Good story.
• The background music is unique and gets interesting as you gradually listen to it.
What’s Not There?
• In some parts, the humor genre overpowers and ruins the whole pace.
• Some songs could be avoided in the film as there were too many, which ruined the entire mood.
Verdict
This musical ride with comedy, tragedy, and zombies is worth watching.
