Right from the day, in which the topic started about the remake of the Tamil movie, “Kaththi", “Chiranjeevi", and the team is facing severe oppositions. Initially, a village people in Tamilnadu wrote a letter to Chiru stating that the story is not Murugadoss, and it is written by their village guy, who is a short film director. But, Chiru didn’t care about that. After a long hiatus, he said that Varun Tej will do the movie, and he will seek another story. Then, he admitted that he will do the movie. Of latest, the film is facing a different problem that the writers association has stopped the support to the film, stating that it is not the story of "A R Murugadoss" and a story by Narasimha. So, Narasimha complains about this to Dasari Narayana Rao, the President of Writers Association. Narasimha says that he had told the story to “Vijay” and initially, Vijay nodded yes and then later, he dropped the project. Vijay told the story to Murugadoss, who developed it and shot, “Kaththi". Till now Vijay hadn’t opened it, and Murugadoss and Vijay are trying to bury the truth, is the talk of the association.
