It has acquired the eighth position in Telugu movies in the US of all time. In its first week it was screened on 133 screens, and it has collected $1,078,399. The Tollywood has predicted that Oopiri will be taking over the Bollywood new released film, ‘Ki and Ka’, and bring down its collection by Oopiri becoming the first preferred choice of the audience.

It is very surprising that Oopiri is witnessing a downfall in the second weekend. The box office collection on the second weekend was $306,827, from 130 screens compared to Bollywood film, ‘Ki and Ka’, with an opening collection $367,387 from 128 screens in the US.
