Kathilantodu To Be Renamed?

“Kathilantodu” is the upcoming film of “Chiranjeevi,” which will be his 150th film. The film is a remake of Tamil film, “Kaththi” directed by AR Murugadoss and featured by “Vijay” and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. “Kathilantodu” will be directed by “V. V. Vinayak.” Still the heroine selection is not over. Earlier, it was said that Anushka Shetty had been booked to pair Chiru and she has provided ample dates. But, still the hunt is going on says a source close to the unit. Vennela Kishore plays Chiru’s friend and Catherine Tresa will play a guest appearance. The shooting of the film is supposed to start on 29th June. It is heard that Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan are planning to rechristen the film. Meanwhile, Ram Charan is busy with his “Dhruva,” a remake of Thani Oruvan. The film will hit the screens on 30th September. Stay tuned for more updates on Chiru’s Kathilantodu!
