Finally... A Heroine From Pakistan For Kaththi Remake!

“Chiranjeevi” has been busy shooting his 150th film, “Kathilantodu.” To play the heroine, Anushka Shetty and “Nayantara” have been approached. As both of them are busy with various projects, they could not spare the dates for Chiru. However, the shooting has been going at a quick pace. It is the remake of Tamil film, “Kaththi.” The film has been planned to be remade in Hindi too. Akshay plays the lead and Pakistani actress Maya Ali has been committed doing the female lead. Besides acting, she had been a VJ and a model too. She is lucky enough to grab the opportunity to play opposite Akshay Kumar in her debut film. Coming to Kathilantodu, the film is directed by “V. V. Vinayak.” Ram Charan produces the film under his home banner Konidela Productions and it is co-produced by LYCA Productions. The film will hit the screens for Sankranthi in 2017.
