Zee Tamil Bagged The Satellite Rights Of Mersal For Rs. 30 Crores!

“Mersal” is the upcoming film featuring “Vijay,” Nithya Menen, “S. J. Surya,” Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, Misha Ghoshal, “Vadivelu,” “Sathyan” and Yogi Babu. The film is directed by Atlee Kumar. “A R Rahman” composes the music and Thenandal Studio Limited produces the film. The shooting of the film has been going at a brisk pace in overseas locations. Even before wrapping up the shooting, the pre-release business has started. Mersal’s Satellite right is bagged by Zee Tamil for a whopping amount of Rs. 30 crores. It is to be noted that Zee TV bagged the satellite right of “2.0” at a huge amount of Rs. 110 crores. Superstar “Rajinikanth” starrer 2.0 has Akshay Kumar in the central role and the film will release in 15 languages, worldwide.
