Our former President Abdul Kalam has promoted to plant the tree saplings that will help the future generations. Vivek organized Green Kalam Peace Rally on Sunday at Chennai Marina Beach to pay tribute to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Students from various colleges and schools have participated in the event. Vivek insisted everyone plant a sapling to avoid global warming. Vivek presented 3000 saplings to the people, who attended the event. Till now, the veteran actor has planted, 27, 35, 000 trees. He is pretty hopeful in reaching the target of planting one crore saplings insisted by Dr. Kalam.
