After the success of Yatchan, Director Vishnuvardhan Kulasekaran has decided to make a period film. He collaborated with Balakumaran - Writer and getting ready for his new film. In an interview to a newspaper, Vishnu said, “It is a 9th century period film and it requires a lot of research. The script demands a lot of historical details and facts; I trust Balakumaran - Writer sir, could do it successfully. Currently, we are reading various stone inscriptions by visiting temples and based on the information in the inscriptions, we are gathering input to the script”. This should be remembered that Both Vishnuvardhan Kulasekaran and Balakumaran - Writer collaborated earlier for a period film, but it was shelved. When the reporter inquired about that, Vishnu replies, “Yes, we started it four years back. But, due to other priorities, we are unable to take it further”.
