Movie Mersal encountered innumerous hassles and hit the silver screens day before yesterday. The movie has had tremendous welcome across the globe. Vijay has thanked his fans for making the movie a huge hit. The movie starring Vijay hit the silver screens after crossing innumerous hassles. There is good review to the movie among cine fans and film critics. The movie has made an accomplishment in the box-office collections. The movie has hit silver screens in about 700 theaters in Tamil Nadu. In the first day collection in Tamil Nadu the movie has yielded a collectionof Rs 22 crore to 24 crore.
The distributors of the movie have made the announcement. It is to be noted that the movie has surpassed the collections of Rajini starrer Kabali and Vijay Starrer Theri.
