The Tamil and Telugu bilingual is said to have collected well in Telugu than in Tamil. However, the film is profitable in Tamil too. In the latest interview, Anushka was asked about the recent controversy about Suriya Sivakumar. Anushka said, “Usually I don’t answer to these kinds of comments. To speak about this issue, as far as I am concerned, this seems to be disrespectful. Everyone has a limit and they should maintain it. They should not comment a celebrity as they wish in a public place and that is not fair.” The Sun TV VJs commented on Suriya’s height. They said that Suriya found it hard to match Anushka’s height in Singam and how could he match Amitabh Bachchan in his upcoming film.
