Suriya’s NGK Gets Delayed!

Surya Sivakumar, who was last seen in Thaana Serndha Koottam directed by Vignesh Shivan, has been working in his 36th film “NGK” directed by “Selvaraghavan.” The film has Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles along with Suriya. SR Prakash Babu and “S R Prabhu” produce the film. “Lingaa” fame Jagapati Babu plays the villain. As Selvaraghavan had been suffering from some health issues, the shooting had been delayed. Now, the shooting is resumed. Initially, it was said that the film would be a Diwali release. Later, they announced that it would be a Christmas release. Yesterday, SR Prabhu tweeted, “Hey Guys! Many are asking for release update on #NGK .Sorry for delayed response. We are little behind schedule & trying to catch up. Will update in a weeks’ time. Meanwhile, stop fighting with each other! Not worth it!! #HappyFriendshipDay.” So, the film might release for Pongal, say some sources.
