Former Kolkata Chief Justice Karnan was arrested for contempt of the court. The Supreme Court slams Karnan for making the judiciary, ridicule. Karnan also accused the Supreme Court judges and acted on his own. Even after the Supreme Court intervened in the matter, he didn’t stop his silly actions. He spread tantrums unnecessarily, stated the Supreme Court. He didn’t submit any evidence for the accusations. He also used his community name to escape from his senseless acts. Besides this, he ordered against the Supreme Court judges. He is physically and mentally healthy. His behavior made the judiciary a fun stuff and hence, after an in-depth analysis, he will be punished, said the Top Court.
