Saravanan Returns As Hero For OTT Series

Saravanan is back in action.

Saravanan is well known for performances in movies like Abhirami, Sevatha Ponnu etc. However, by the end of the 90s, his career started to decline and he was compelled to take a sabbatical.

In 2007, he returned with a character role in the movie Paruthiveeran, which starred Karthi Sivakumar  in the lead role. Saravanan was appreciated for his supporting role, for which he received a Filmfare South Award for the Best Supporting Actor.

Since then, Saravanan has been doing mostly character roles. The last time he acted in a lead role was in the 2010 movie Vilai, where he played the role of a cop, DCP Shanmugavel.
