Santhanam’s Father Is No More!

“Santhanam,” the comedian turned hero lost his father yesterday evening. Neelamegam, Santhanam’s dad, was 69-year-old, who was diagnosed with liver ailments. He was given treatment in a private hospital in Chennai. His body failed to accept the treatment for his liver issues and he breathed his last, yesterday 4 pm. His funeral will be held today evening. Santhanam made his entry in the mini screen with “Lollu Sabha.” He rose to fame with the show and stepped into the silver screen as a comedian. After playing in lots of films as a comedian, the actor made his debut as a hero in “Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham.” He has been doing a couple of movies as a hero. “Server Sundaram” and “Dilluku Dhuttu” are the upcoming films of Santhanam. While growing as a hero, his father’s sudden demise affects Santhanam, a lot. Our condolences to Santhanam and family! May his father’s soul rest in peace!
