Sangamithra To Roll On The Floors From August!

“Sangamithra” is the upcoming period film scripted and directed by “Sundar C.” The film focuses on Sangamithra, the eighth-century queen and the problems faced by her to save her kingdom. Disha Patani plays the titular role. The pre-production works are going at a quick pace and the film will roll on the floors from August. It will be shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. “Arya” and Jayam Ravi accompany Disha Patani. The film will be bankrolled by Thenandal Films in a budget of Rs. 400 crores and it would be released in two parts. “A R Rahman” composes the music. The film was launched in grandeur in Cannes Film Festival with Shruti Haasan as the lead. Later, she quit the film. As they had some confusion, Sundar C delayed the film by a year. Before starting this, he directed “Kalakalappu 2” and got success.
